Ann Mettler is executive director and co-founder of The Lisbon Council, a Brussels-based think tank and policy network. Prior to founding the organization at age 32, Ann served as Director for Europe at the World Economic Forum.
In addition to being a blogger, Ann has published articles in key media outlets, such as the Wall Street Journal Europe, Financial Times, Newsweek, FT Deutschland, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Handelsblatt. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and serves on the scientific committee of the OECD global project on measuring the progress of societies.
A dual citizen of Germany and Sweden, Ann has lived and worked in Greece, the United States, Switzerland and Belgium. She holds Masters degrees in political science and European law and economics, and graduated with distinction from the University of New Mexico, USA, and the Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI) in Bonn, Germany.Author : Ann Mettler
